________________________________________________
Born in Paris , France , in 1977, I am currently living in Shanghai, China.
I enjoy the Art of collages since my early childhood. This passion was born with travel brochures that my father brought home. I started by creating virtual Carnets de voyages (Travelogues) and never stopped... every printed source since then became a potential material for the fabric of new paper universes, with no limits in their designs other than my imagination...
I create directly on canvas, with a mix of various articles, photos and paint as well as virtual photo-montages. Once an original artwork is finished, I selectively will sometimes create limited edition prints.
My creativity is fuelled by my passion of travelling, avid readings of a wide variety of literature and more generally, my insatiable curiosity toward the world.
I love to discover works of other artists... lingers around galleries across the globe, and occasionally steals magazines everywhere...it's (one of) my péché mignon.
One of my many artistic passions is to transpose the complexity of a novel into a single design. I does freelance work illustrating books and magazines, mainly for French literature reviews such as Le Magazine des Livres, Les Carnets de la Philosophie, La Presse Littéraire... My work is currently represented both in private collections and display in public areas.
I am a self taught artist that keeps eyes wide open and continues learning from what I see, experience and enjoy, allowing my creativity and imagination to drift without boundaries, using mixed media as a medium for my expression.
