There is always a way to stop the time.
Slow, fast, dark, bright, each shot has its soul, its strive to astonish, its way of narrating. It holds a memory, a fleeting instant, perhaps hard to capture and indelible once grasped. Behind, the hand of someone who allows some bits of him to be discovered, who tries to make you feel in the same way he felt in that fleeting moment, ended up in the jaws of his lens. Sometimes successfully, other times not, I am making my attempt.

C'è sempre un modo per fermare il tempo.
Lento, veloce, cupo, luminoso, ogni scatto ha la sua anima, la sua voglia di stupire, il suo modo di raccontare. Racchiude in se un ricordo, un attimo che scappa, magari difficile da catturare e indelebile una volta afferrato. Dietro c'è la mano di qualcuno che lascia scoprire qualche parte di sé, che prova a farti emozionare come lui si è emozionato in quell'attimo fuggente finito nelle fauci del proprio obiettivo, a volte con successo, a volte senza, io ci sto provando.

Simone Freschi was born in Livorno, 1984.
Since he was a child, he has been fascinated by the world of photography and tecnology.
At the age of eight, he already liked playing around with his dad's reflex.
He found intriguing and mysterious the way in which a machine could freeze the reality.
For this reason, and also because of Simone's dad's sense of protection towards his reflex, Simone got his first camera as a present from his parents very early on.
By practicing over the years, he learnt some of the techniques of digital photography and acquired his own style.
In addition to photography. Simone has other two passions: music and sports.
This offers him the opportunity to integrate photography with these other two fields of interest.
At the moment, Simone works as a software developer for a company in London but keeps practicing the hobby of photography, also for professional purposes.
